At Fundr, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Fundr web application/dashboard/platform (“Platform“) and participate in the United Community Fundr Association (“UCFA“). This policy complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.

    • We collect the following personal information:

      • Upon Registration:

        • First name
        • Last name
        • Email address
        • Password (hashed for security)

      • Usage Data:

        • Information about your interactions with the Platform (e.g., pages viewed, timestamps).

      • Financial Data (entered by administrators):

        • Contributions (monthly savings records).
        • Loan records (amount, repayment status).
        • Payout records (amount, dates).

      • Campaign Data (if applicable):

        • Details you provide when creating campaigns (e.g., title, story).

  2. How We Use Your Information

    • We use your information to:

      • Create and manage your account.
      • Provide access to UCFA services (savings tracking, loans, payouts).
      • Display your financial history and campaign details.
      • Communicate with you about your account or UCFA updates.
      • Improve the Platform’s functionality and user experience.

  3. Data Storage and Security

    • Your data is stored in Supabase PostgreSQL (database) and Supabase Storage (for files like campaign images).
    • We implement reasonable security measures (e.g., password hashing, access controls) to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
    • However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  4. Data Sharing

    • We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:

      • As required by law or legal processes (e.g., court orders).
      • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Fundr, UCFA, or others.
    • Administrators manually input and manage financial data within the Platform.

    • Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

      • Access your personal data we hold.
      • Correct inaccurate data.
      • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal or operational requirements).
      • Object to or restrict how we process your data.

    • We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide UCFA services.
    • Inactive accounts or data no longer required may be archived or deleted, subject to applicable laws.

    • The Platform is for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18.

  8. Changes to This Policy

    • We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Changes will be posted on the Platform with the updated “Last Updated“ date. Continued use after changes indicates your acceptance.
